2007 Roosevelt Hall Renovation Projects

During 2007, the building committee was back to work on renovation projects again.  This time it was installation of the new lighting system and electrical upgrade,  the concession stand upgrade, the side building with the cast entrance, and the balcony upgrade with new air conditioning, and relocation of the light booth.

The new lighting system included a new computerized lighting board, a flat screen computer monitor donated by West Central Computer Solutions, all new electrical boxes outside and in the basement to run the system and new wiring from the basement to the lighting units to the new light booth location.  This was a very large electrical project, costing $12,000.  But the bottom line is a safer working system with lighting capacity at 125%.  No more risk of electrical fires and greater lighting capacity.

Here are three new dimmer units and electrical box in the basement.

The next big project was the four new air conditioning units purchased and installed in the balcony to keep the audience comfortable year round.  These units are quiet and will even work in the winter time when full house heat up the building. A portion of the cost for these units was paid for by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council.

Here are the four new air conditioning units, each side has it's own controls for maximum comfort.
