Physical development is promoted through large muscle and small muscle activities. Intellectual development is stimulated through sensory, math, matching, and science activities. Language, dramatic play, music, potty training, and self-help activities are practiced to develop social skills. Our program implements these activity areas in a warm atmosphere to meet the emotional needs of each child enrolled. Our curriculum includes the practice of social skills such as toileting and eating skills. We encourage sensory exploration along with science and cognitive activities. The children are free to practice large and small muscle skills, along with self-expression, through music experiences. The storytime and other group activities are used for transitions and to lengthen attention spans. A quiet area is provided with books to give each child a chance to be alone.
